 Chelsea FC v Manchester City Football Match will be played on 14.04.2013 at Wembley Stadium (London) for an FA Cup match. 

Chelsea are 3 in the Premiership with 58 points from 31 matches and are in a really tough fight for a Champions League place with Tottenham even on points with them and Arsenal just 2 points back.  Chelsea have won 3 of their last 4 EPL games to keep their spot but have some tough games ahead with trips to face Liverpool and Manchester United.  They also have the semi final of the Europa League to play after beating Rubin Kazan in the quarter finals.

Manchester City are 2 in the EPL with 65 points from 31 games and look to have their position secured.  They are coming off an excellent win at rivals Manchester United but the gap between the sides is still 12 points and insurmountable.  They will feel they need to win this competition this year or it’ll be seen as a complete failure.

 Man City have been unbeaten in 4 matches in the F.A Cup, their last loss was against Manchester United playing at home with a 2-3 scoreline last season. This will be Manchester City’s last chance of silverware this season, realistically they are very unlikely to win back to back Premier League titles this season, as they are 12 points behind leaders and rivals Manchester United. David Silva is said to be in doubt to play this match, as he suffered an injury in the Manchester Derby against Man United earlier this week.
