Leicester vs Manchester City Premier League - 10-12-2016

Leicester City vs Manchester City
Competition: English Premier League
Date: 10 December 2016 - Kick-off Time: 17:30 GMT
Venue: King Power Stadium, Leicester

Leicester City team enter this match on the back of a heavy (but meaningless) defeat in the final UCL group stage match which they lost 5-0 to Porto. Furthermore, they are winless in five league matches after last weekend's 2-1 slip at Sunderland. As consequence, the Foxes currently sit 16th in the league standings with just 13 points from 14 games. The current Premier League champions took 4 points off Manchester City last term, winning 3-1 away and drawing 0-0 at home.
Claudio Ranieri expects to have Robert Huth available for this clash in order to field an unchanged back four with Danny Simpson, Wes Morgan and Christian Fuchs, with Luis Hernandez set to provide cover. In midfield, Danny Drinkwater is suspended and will be replaced by Andy King. The Italian manger will restore the usual attack as Islam Slimani and Jamie Vardy will lead the line after being rested in midweek. Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is close to a return after a hand injury, although he is unlikely to play against his former club on Saturday.
Man City team had a tough fixture against Chelsea last weekend and they lost 3-1 squandering a lead. Guardiola's men now sit 3rd in the league stadings, 4 points behind Chelsea, one behind Arsenal and level on points with Liverpool. They have won six of their seven away games in the English Premier League this season, the best record in the division. In midweek, the Citizens recorded another draw against Celtic (1-1) in Premier League at Etihad Stadium. Their major weakness is the shaky defense - just one clean sheet in their last 16 matches in all competitions!
The Citizens will be without Sergio Aguero for the next four matches after being sent off last time out alongside Fernandinho, who received a three games ban. Nicolas Otamendi is also out thorugh suspension, Vincent Kompany is sidelined for the near future, while Raheem Sterlins is doubtful after missing the last two matches with a knee injury and Fabian Delph lacks match fitness. Pep Guardiola is expected to choose Kelechi Iheanacho as lone forward, while Yaya Tourè should start in midfield and Aleksandar Kolarov as centre back.

Arsenal vs Paris Saint-Germain 23-11-2016 Champions League

Arsenal vs PSG - Competition: UEFA Champions League

Arsenal team are level on points with PSG in the UCL Group A. Arsene Wenger's men fought back in Paris to claim a point in the opening round of fixtures, and won the three subsequent matches. They entered the international break in excellent form, but they were underwhelming in the weekend trip to Manchester United, drawing 1-1 at Old Trafford courtesy of a late goal scored by Giroud.
Theo Walcott and Aaron Ramsey are major doubts and could be replaced by Granit Xhaka and Olivier Giroud. That would see Alexis Sanchez play in the three offensive midfielders. Neither Hector Bellerin nor Santi Cazorla are available to play while Lucas Perez, Danny Welbeck and Per Mertesacker are long term injuries. David Ospina will continue as Champions League goalkeeper.
Paris Saint-Germain team are unbeaten in their last nine competitive matches, winning all but one of their matches since the shock loss against Toulouse in September. They sill trail Ligue 1 leaders Nice by three points. In Champions League, PSG top the table with 10 points but a draw in this game will keep Arsenal in the top spot of the group.
Jese Rodriguez and Lucas Moura are expected to flank Edison Cavani upfront. Adrien Rabiot is ruled out for PSG while Serge Aurier was been refused permission by British authorities to travel to England and will miss out. Furthermore, Unai Emery has admitted that Angel di Maria is a doubt after substituting him after 36 minutes of play last time outs. Other doubts are Alphonse Areola, Layvin Kurzawa and Javier Pastore.

Probable lineups:
Arsenal: Ospina – Jenkinson, Mustafi, Koscielny, Gibbs – Xhaka, Coquelin – Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ozil, Sanchez – Giroud.
PSG: Trapp – Meunier, Silva, Marquinhos, Maxwell – Verratti, Motta, Matuidi – Lucas, Cavani, Jese.

Chelsea vs Everton Premier League - 05-11-2016

Chelsea vs Everton
Competition: Premier League
Date: 5 November 2016
Kick-off Time: 17:30 GMT
Venue: Stamford Bridge, London

Chelsea team have won their last four league games on the trot which has pushed the Blues one point off top spot after switching to a 3-4-3 formation. They have not conceded a goal in the process, with convincing home wins over Leicester City and Man United and a couple of away successes at Hull City and Southampton.
Antonio Conte looks set to name an unchanged starting XI once again. The only dilemma he looks to have is whether to recall Willian in place of Pedro on the right of the front three.  Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso are expected to operate as wing-backs in the 3-4-3 formation. Marco van Ginkel and Kurt Zouma have stepped up their return to first team action after featuring for the U23s, but they aren't expected to recover in time for the weekend. Fabregas, Juan Cuadrato and Baba Rahman are out through injury.
Everton team sit in sixth place in the standings after winning five games, drawing three and losing two so far. They bounced back from the defeat at Burnley and ended their 4 league games winless run with a 2-0 triumph over West ham last weekend. The Toffees have not been great on their travels so far, despite collecting seven points and holding Man City to a draw. Furthermore, they have failed to record a win in their last 22 away matches against Chelsea in all competitions.
Ronald Koeman will be without the suspended Idrissa Gueye while Maarten Stekelenburg missed their 2-0 win over West Ham United through injury and it remains to be seen if he will recover in time. Tom Cleverley looks the obvious replacement for Gueye in central midfield alongside Gareth Barry, which means that Yannick Bolasie, Ross Barkley and Kevin Mirallas should again form the attacking midfield trio in the 4-2-3-1 formation behind the lone striker Romelu Lukaku.  Phil Jagielka and Ramiro Funes Mori are in contention for a starting berth in defense. Muhamed Besic is a long-term absentee, while James McCarthy and Arouna Kone are unlikely to feature.

Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund - Champions League Septembre 27, 2016

Borussia Dortmund vs Real Madrid - Champions League 2016-17
Venue: Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund, Allemagne
mardi, 27 septembre 2016 - 20:45 CET

Borussia Dortmund team have won six of their eight competitive games; scoring a ridiculous amount of goals. Their only slips were a German Super Cup defeat to Bayern Munich and a 1-0 loss at Leipzig in Bundesliga earlier this month. Thomas Tuchel's men enter this match on the back of a 3-1 win over Darmstadt at the weekend and made a good start to their Champions League campaign as they thrashed Polish side Legia Warsaw 6-0 on the matchday 1.
Thomas Tuchel have a number of injury concerns. Neven Subotic, Erik Durm, Marco Reus and Sven Bender are all sidelined while Andrè Schurrle is doubtful. Furthermore, he may be forced to field Matthias Ginter at the back with Marc Bartra expected to miss out once again because of injury. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will start as lone striker in the 4-1-4-1 formation, with Julian Wigl deployed as shield in midfield. The likes of Gonzalo Castro, Raphael Guerreiro, Christian Pulisic and Ousmane Dembelè will probably start as offensive midfielders.
Real Madrid team were on the verge of breaking the all time record of consecutive La Liga wins last week but they only recorded a 1-1 draw at Villarreal. Furthermore, they also drew with Las Palmas (2:2) last Saturday. The Galacticos remain top of the table in La Liga with 14 points from their six matches. Anyway, Zinedine Zidane’s men needed to rely on very late goals in order to scrape a 2-1 matchday one win at home against Sporting Lisbon in their Champions League.
Keylor Navas is expected to retain his starting berth in goal while Casemiro is sidelined for at least three weeks after breaking his leg against Espanyol. Marco Asensio, Mateo Kovacic, James Rodriguez and Isco are all vying for the third slot in midfield alongside Toni Kroos and Luka Modric. The BBC offensive trio - Bale, Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo - will remain unchanged. Defenders Marcelo, Fabio Coentrao, and Pepe are injury concerns.

Probable lineups:
Real Madrid: Navas – Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Danilo – T. Kroos, Modric – Bale, J. Rodriguez, Ronaldo – Benzema.
Borussia Dortmund: Burki – Piszczek, Ginter, Sokratis, Schmelzer – Weigl, Rode – Dembele, M. Gotze, Guerreiro – Aubameyang.

Manchester United vs Leicester City Premier League - September 24, 2016

Manchester United vs Leicester City - Competition: Premier League

Man United team got off to a strong start as they won the Community Shield and then reeled off three straight Premier League wins, but the wheels have come off since then with back-to-back league losses sandwiching a Europa League defeat at the hands of Feyenoord. Their recent form has shown they have only individual players and lack cohesion in the team and the pressure is mounting on Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese managare has concerns over Luke Shaw and Anthony Martial for the visit of Leicester to Old Trafford, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan is a major doubt due to a thigh problem. Rooney will reportedly be axed on Saturday after a terrible performance against Watford last weekend and against Northampton in the League Cup.This should see Marcus Rashford retain his place, with Juan Mata or Ashley Young vying for a start.
Leicester City team have so far failed to match the heights of last campaign, but they responded to the 4-1 drubbing at Liverpool with their first ever UCL victory (3-0 over Club Brugge) and the Foxes ran out comfortable winners against Burnley last weekend before being knocked out by Chelsea in the EFL Cup in midweek.
Claudio Ranieri is expected to choose a starting XI similar to the one used against Burnley last weekend with Islam Slimani partnering Jamie Vardy in attack. Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has recovered from concussion and he is in contention with Ron-Robert Zieler for a berth between the posts. Nampalys Mendy remains the Foxes' only real injury concern and as consequence Daniel Amartey is likely to start in the middle of the park.
Both teams shared points in their last game at Old Trafford, also they did same at Leicester City’s home ground last season. Both teams have scored in the five matches these two sides have played since Leicester’s promotion.

Paris Saint-Germain vs Arsenal 13-09-2016 Champions League

Paris Saint-Germain vs Arsenal - Competition: UEFA Champions League

After they lost 3-1 away to Monaco before the international break, Paris Saint Germain failed to win once again in Ligue 1 as they recorded a 1-1 draw against Saint-Etienne. This means that the current champions  have only picked up a point from their last two matches following two wins from two. Anyway, PSG have lost just one of their last 20 UCL matches at the Parc des Princes and they are odds on favoruite to get all three points against the Gunners.
Paris Saint-Germain team are a team in transition. Theyb suffered the loss of Ibrahimovic on a free during the summer, and as consequence Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani will play as central forward this season. The loss of David Luiz means that Presnel Kimpembe will start as central defender as defenders Serge Aurier, Maxwell, Thiago Silva and Layvin Kurzawa are all doubtful for Paris Saint-Germain. At present Marquinhos, Presnel Kimpembe and Thomas Meunier are the club’s only fully-fit defenders.
Arsenal enter this game on the back of a pivotal 2-1 win over Southampton at Emirates on Saturday afternoon, courtesy of a Santi Cazorla's late penalty conversion. Prior to that, the Gunners suffered a home defeat against Liverpool (3:4) in their Premier League debut match, then drew 0-0 with Leicester and beat Watford 3-1 away from home. They have been very average so far and Arsene Wenger is already under pressure.
The Gunners are set to welcome back Kieran Gibbs after he recovered from injury. Granit Xhaka could play a part after being rested in the 2-1 win over Southampton. New signing Lucas Perez endured a disappointing Premier League debut in which he failed to have a single shot on target against the Saints. Olivier Giroud will lead the line, with Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott behind him. With captain and key defender Laurent Koscielny set to miss the game through injury, Rob Holding is expected to deputize in his absence. Arsene Wenger is also without Aaron Ramsey, Gabriel Paulista, Carl Jenkinson, Danny Welbeck and Per Mertesacker due to injury.

Marcus Rashford is pushing for a start after following up his winner against Hull with a hat-trick for the England U21s on Tuesday and the youngster is in contention with Anthony Martial for a starting berth. Italy vs France International Friendly - 01-09-2016

Italy vs France - Competition: Friendly

Italy team left the Euro Championship competitions after 5 games, losing out to Germany in a penalty shootout. They beat Belgium, Sweden and Spain (all - remarkably - to nil), losing to Ireland 1-0 and drawing 1-1 with Germany before to be knocked out. Anyway, most of the bettors think the Italians are renowned for treating these International Friendlies as exercises in not getting injured. The Azzurri have won only five of their 24 friendlies since 2012 and four of these victories came against sides we had ranked outside the world’s top-50.
New Italy boss Giampiero Ventura has replaced Antonio Conte who has been appointed by Chelsea. The former Torino manager has insisted he is keen on bringing young talent to the team. AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma could make his debut as well as young striker Andrea Belotti, the current Serie A top scorer depsite two missed penalties in the first two matches. In the starting 3-5-2 formation, Eder and Graziano Pellè will lead the line.
France team lost in the final of the Euros in their own country two months ago. They defeated Albania, Ireland, Iceland and Germany, before coming unstuck to Portugal in what was a heartbreaking loss in front of their own fans in the Euro 2016 final.  Despite an array of talents at their disposal, both sides underperformed in attack during the tournament. As to the firendlies, Les Blues have won seven of their last 11 away friendlies against sides ranked in the world’s top 25.
The French squad has been shaken-up by the involvement of Dortmund teenager, Dembele, and Atletico Madrid forward, Gameiro. Kingsley Coman is likely to start ahead of Payet, while Kante will also get a chance to prove himself further at the base of midfield. Steve Mandanda is set to start between the sticks with Hugo Lloris out injured while Sebastien Corchia is expected to start as right back. Yohan Cabaye has reportedly injured his knee in training and will miss out.

Tottenham vs Liverpool Premier League - 27-08-2016

Tottenham vs Liverpool - Competition: Premier League

Tottenham team will be looking to maintain their unbeaten record having opened with a draw at Everton and snatched a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace in the 2nd matchweek. Spurs are not yet firing on all cylinders but and it appears that Pochettino is desperate to boost his squad before the transfer window slams shut next week and Palace's Wilfried Zaha is the latest name to be linked with White Hart Lane.
Hugo Lloris is Tottenham's only injury concern and will be replaced by Michel Vorm while Mousa Dembelè is out through injury. Vincent Janssen has not have opened his Premier League account just yet, but he has impressed in his performances so far and could start as central forward with Kane just behind him. This means that Dele Alli will be benched or employed as central midfielder. Kyle Walker, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Danny Rose are all set to start in defence once more.
Liverpool team kicked off their English Premier League campaign with a thrilling 4-3 victory at Arsenal on opening weekend but suffered a 2-0 defeat at Burnley last week. The Reds recovered form that show by hammering Burton Albion 5-0 in the League Cup last Tuesday. Klopp’s side do go into the Premier League clash in good goal-scoring form after finding the net nine times in three games so far this season. Anyway, their defense have already conceded 5 goals in 180 minutes.
Emre Can misses out having sustained an ankle injury in the EFL Cup and joins Loris Karius, Sheyi Ojo, Mamadou Sakho, Joe Gomez and Lucas Leiva on the sidelines. Divock Origi is a major doubt beacuse of a muscle injury.  Henderson, Georginio Wijnaldum and Adam Lallana are the probable starters in midfield while Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho starting in the wide forward positions. Roberto Firmino is the slight favourite to be deployed in the “false nine” in preference to Daniel Sturridge. Ragnar Klavan and Joel Matip are in contention for a starting berth at centre back.
Tottenham team are without a win in their last seven EPL meetings with Liverpool, losing five times in the process. The Reds played out stalemates with Spurs at Anfield and at White Hart Lane last term - 0-0 at White Hart Lane and 1-1 at Anfield.

Anyway the latter is out through injurym as well as defensive midfield duo Lucian Filip. The Romanian vice-champions have brought two players last week, midfielders Boldrini and striker William, but they are not expected to get their chance here.
Pep Guardiola’s reign as Man City manager got off to a winning start against Sunderland on Saturday courtesy of a late own goal scored by Black Cats' defender Paddy McNair after Jermain Defoe scored the equalizer for Sunderland with 19 minutes left to play. This win might not have been very convincing, but is a certain confidence booster after experiencing a difficult pre-season as they failed to win any of their games in normal time.
Yaya Tourè has not been included in the squad that will play the play-off while captain Vincent Kompany and new signings Gundogan and Leroy Sane are all out injured. Nasri, Denayer, Bony and Mangala definitely are not in Guardiola's plans, and have been left out. Defender Nicolas Otamendi is also a doubt with a muscular problem while Willi Caballero has been Guardiola's preferred goalkeeper so far and will probably start until the arrive of new signing Claudio Bravo. The likes of Aguero, David Silva, Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne are all in line to start up front.

Probable lineups:
Steaua Bucharest: Nita – Enache, Tamas, Tosca, Mom?ilovi? – Achim, Bourceanu – Popa, Tanase, Hamroun – Stanciu.
Manchester City: Caballero – Sagna, Stones, Otamendi, Clichy – Fernando, Fernandinho – de Bruyne, Silva, Nolito – Aguero.

Real Madrid vs Sevilla UEFA Super Cup - 09-08-2016

Real Madrid vs Sevilla - Competition: UEFA Super Cup

Real Madrid team started their ICC quest with a disappointing 3-1 loss to PSG. Then the current Champions League holders recorded back to back wins over Chelsea and Bayern Munich in the same competition. With only 3 games played so far, the Blancos will not be at full strength. Anyway, one silver lining of Real's pre-season has been the sensational form of youngster Marco Asensio.
Cristiano Ronaldo is still out after having picked up that leg injury in the Euro 2016 Final victory over France. His fellow countryman Pepe will miss the match along with Gareth Bale and Toni Kroos after all their extra summer exertions in the Euro 2016. Morata is likely to spearhead the attack, with James Rodriguez and Isco on his flanks. The likes of Casemiro, Modric and Kovacic are expected to start in midfield while Jese Rodriguez has moved to PSG earlier this week. Dani Carvajal should be preferred to Danilo at right-back.
Sevilla team have problems of their own too, having lost manager Unai Emery and key men Grzegorz Krychowiak, Kevin Gameiro and Ever Banega during the summer. Anyway, they should be high on confidence after winning five friendlies in a row in the lead up to this clash, backed up by the new ideas and intensity of coach Jorge Sampaoli.
Luciano Vietto should get the nod to start up front after joining from Atletico. New signing Franco Vazquez is expected to start, though Ganso is also in contention. Konoplyanka and Vitolo are likely to be the starting offensive wingers while Kranevitter and N'Zonzi will start in the middle of the park.
Real won the last time these two sides faced together in the Super Cup back in 2014. The last seven encounters between Real and Sevilla have produced Over 2.5  Goals and both teams found the back of the net in six of those meetings.

Euro 2016: Portugal vs France Final - July 10, 2016

Portugal vs France - Competition: Euro 2016 Final
Date: 10 July 2016 - Kick-off Time: 20:00 BST
Venue: Stade de France, Paris

Portugal secured their place in the final on Wednesday night with a 2-0 victory against Wales. Both goals came in quick succession early in the second half with Ronaldo opening the scoring and Nani adding the second. Having drawn all three of their group games, the Portuguese needed extra-time to see off Croatia and then required a penalty shoot-out to get the better of Poland. Hence, the victory over Wales was their first one in regulation time. Their defense has been very impressive for most of the tournament. Excluding their wild 3-3 draw with Hungary, they have conceded just two goals in their other five games. The Portuguese team are complete underdogs going into Sunday's final as they have lost their last 10 matches against France.
Head coach Fernando Santos will be desperate to have Pepe back for the final after he missed last time out. Midfielder William Carvalho is available again following suspension and could replace Danilo in the defensive midfield role. Nani and Cristiano Ronaldo are expected to lead the line once again. Joao Mario is favourite over Moutinho for a starting berth in midfield.
France's offensive weapons didn't exactly fire on all cylinders against Germany but they were able to capitalize on the Germans’ mistakes, which was enough to get the 2-0 win. Les Blues took the lead thanks to a Griezmann penalty and he added a second on 72 minutes to seal the win. Prior to the semi final, France beat Iceland 5-2 in the quarter finals and came back from a 1-0 half time deficit to beat Republic of Ireland 2-1 in the last 16 round. In the group stage they needed late goals to seal wins over Romania (2-1) and Albania (2-0) before playing out a 0-0 draw against Switzerland.
France are likely to name an unchanged side from the one that kncoked out Germany meaning that N'Golo Kante and Adil Rami are likely to be benched. Didier Deschamps is likely to field a 4-3-3 formation with Antoine Griezmann and Dimitri Payet supporting the central forward Olivier Giroud.  In the middle of the park Paul Pogba, Blaise Matuidi and Moussa Sissoko are the probable starters.

Germany vs France Euro 2016 Semi-final - 07-07-2016

Germany vs France - Competition: European Championship

Germany team secured their place in the semi-finals courtesy of a dramatic 6-5 penalty shootout victory over Italy, after the match ended 1-1. Since the Italian goal was scored on penalty, die Mannschaft have yet to concede a goal from open play in this tournament. The current world champions beat France 1-0 at the quarter-final stage at the World Cup two years ago thanks to a Hummels' header.
Joachim Low has a couple of concerns ahead of this game. Not only is key center-back Mats Hummels suspended, but midfielder Sami Khedira and the sole striker in the squad Mario Gómez have been ruled out with injuries. Bastian Schweinsteiger and Jerome Boateng are also struggling with fitness issues. As consequence, Thomas Muller will surely lead the line but the Bayern Munich forward is still seeking his first ever goal at a European Championship. Mario Gotze will start in the offensive midfield trio. Benedikt Höwedes will start their defence, although the Schalke defender trained away from the main group on Tuesday with a slight knock.
France team beat the tournament surprise package Iceland 5-2 at the weekend. This was also the first game in the tournament that they looked convincing. Prior to that, they narrowly beat Romania (2:1) and Albania (2:0) and recorded a goalles draw against Switzerland in the group stage. In the last-16 round, they were one goal down against Republic Ireland and booed by their fans. Anyway, a braced scored by Antoine Griezmann was enough to come from behind and win the match 2:1.
Boss Didier Deschamps will welcome midfield enforcer Kante and centre-back Adil Rami back from suspension. Samuel Umtiti and Moussa Sissoko are the most likely to be dropped from the starting eleven. Olivier Giroud is a slight doubt after skipping training with a knee injury on Tuesday. Antoine Griezmann and Dimitri Payet are sure starters upfront while Andre-Pierre Gignac and Antony Martial are in contention to replace giroud should the Arsenal striker miss out.

Probable lineups:
Germany: Neuer – Howedes, Mustafi, J. Boateng, Hector – T. Kroos, Weigl (Can) – T. Muller, Ozil, Draxler – M. Gotze.
France: Lloris, Sagna, Koscielny, Rami, Evra – Matuidi, Pogba – Coman, Payet, Griezmann – Giroud.

Venue: Parc Olympique Lyonnais (Stade des Lumières), Lyon
Wednesday, July 06 2016 - 21:00 CET

Portugal team are yet to win in 90 minutes at the France finals. Their only vicotry came in the last 16 round against Croatia when a goal scored by Ricardo Quaresma during the extra-time was enough to secure a 1-0 win. In three three group stage matches, the Portuguese team recorded three draw - 1:1 against Iceland, 0:0 against Austria and 3:3 against Hungary. In the last round, they knocked out Poland after a 1-1 draw and a nerve penalty shootout in Marseille.
William Carvalho is suspended, which could mean Danilo comes into midfield. Fullback Raphael Guerreiro and midfielder Andre Gomes are still sidelined with their respective injuries. Pepe missed training on Monday but he is expected to start the match regularly. Monaco star Joao Moutinho will  be hoping to start while Ricardo Quaresma and Joao Mario are in contention for a starting berth.
Wales team are in dreamland after recovering from conceding for in the quarter final with Belgium to come away with a 3-1 win. That was their 4th vicotry in five games so far, with their only loss against England (1:2) in the group stage. The other two Group B matches saw the Dragons beat 2:1 Slovakia and 3:0 Russia. In the last-16 round, they narrowly beat Norther Ireland 1:0, courtesy of an own-goal scored by Gareth McAuley. Wales, who are now the top scorers at Euro 2016, are the first Euro debutants to reach the last four since Sweden in 1992
Coleman will be without Spurs defender Ben Davies and Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey due to suspension, with James Collins and  Andy King in line to replace the banned duo. Hal Robson-Kanu will lead the attack once again with Gareth Bale, of course, just behind him.

Probable lineups:
Wales: Hennessey – Chester, A. Williams, Collins – Gunter, Allen, Ledley, King, Taylor – Bale – Robson-Kanu.
Portugal: Patricio – Soares, Pepe, Fonte, Eliseu – Pereira – Mario, Sanches, A. Silva – Ronaldo, Nani.

Germany vs Italy Euro 2016 quarter finals - 02-07-2016

Germany vs Italy - Competition: European Championship

Germany team are coming off a 3-0 win over Slovakia in the round of 16, having topped their group with a goalless draw aginst Poland sandwiched between a 2-0 victory over Ukraine team and a 1-0 defeat of minnows Northern Ireland. They are the only team that has not conceded a single goal at the Euros but lacked any real attacking fluency until they came across a poor Slovakian side in the last 16.
Joachim Low has no reason to make any changes to the side that started last time out. Julian Draxler, Thomas Muller and Ozil will be the offensive midfield trio while Gomez will lead the line. Mario Gotze struggled for form in the first few games and he is expected to be benched. Unexperienced Jonas Hector and Joshua Kimmich will start as full back once again.
Italy qualified to the knockouts as Group E winner, despite their final loss to Ireland (0-1) when they already secured the top spot having won the first two games against Belgium (2-0) and Sweden (1-0). The  Azzurri knocked out Spain in their round of 16 clash with an impressive 2-0 victory and a perfect perfomance. Antonio Conte's effective pressing stifled Spain’s famed passing game, which allowed Italy to get the upper hand.
The Italians will not have midfielder Thiago Motta after he picked up his second yellow card last time out and Antonio Candreva who is out through a harmstring injury. Daniele De Rossi is a major doubt and he is expected to be replaced by Juventus midfield Stefano Sturaro. No changes are expected in defense where Bonucci, Chiellini and Barzagli are very solid, neither in attack where Eder and Graziano Pellè are improving match by match.
Germany beat Italy 4-1 in a friendly in March. After all, Italy will face a country it has never lost to in a competitive fixture, having beaten Die Mannschaft rival in all eight of their meetings in major tournaments, included in 2006, when the Germans were beaten on home soil in extra time. Italy also Italy disposed of Germany in the semi-finals four years ago, thanks to a brace from the enigmatic Mario Balotelli.

Probable lineups:
Germany: Neuer – Kimmich, J.Boateng, Hummels, Hector – Khedira, T. Kroos – T. Muller, Ozil, Draxler – Gomez.
Italy: Buffon – Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini – Florenzi, Sturaro, de Sciglio – Parolo, Giaccherini – Eder, Pelle.

Poland vs Portugal
Competition: European Championship
Date: 30 June 2016 - Kick-off Time: 20:00 BST
Venue: Stade Velodrome, Marseille

Poland have battled hard to reach the Quarter Finals of Euro 2016 without ever looking completely convincing, even conceding no goals in the first three matches. They started the group stage with a 1-0 victory over Northern Ireland, drew 0-0 with Germany and narrowly beat Ukraine in the third and decisive match. They qualified for the quarter finals via a penalty shootout against Switzerland as the both team held out to 1-1 stalemate after 120 minutes of action. Talismanic forward Robert Lewandowski yet to find the net.
Head coach Adam Navalka welcome midfielder Bartosz Kapustka back from suspension, and he could come into the side at Grosicki's expense. Robert Lewandowski is expected to shake off a minor thigh complaint while Lukasz Fabianski is expected to retain his starting berth in goal even if Wojciech Szczesny can recover in time. Blazczykowski, Krychowiak and Maczynski are expected to start in midfield, as well as Arkadiusz Milik up front.
Portugal team have struggled in their last four games, finishing third in Group F behind Hungary and Iceland and advancing to knockout stages without winning a match. They finished all square with Iceland (1-1), Austria (0-0) and Hungary (3-3) Furthermore, Portugal required extra time to see off Croatia 1-0 in Lyon in the last 16. Actually, they are in the quarter-finals but they failed to win all the 4 games in regular time so far.
Boss Fernando Santos has doubts over full-back Raphael Guerreiro, midfielders Joao Moutinho and Andre Gomes, but all three are expected to be fit. Adrien Silva, Cedric Soares and Jose Fonte profited with their first appearances of the tournament against Croatia and they could be rewarded with another start here.

Switzerland vs Poland Euro 2016 - round of 16 - June 25, 2016

Switzerland vs Poland - Competition: UEFA Euro 2016

Switzerland team came through Group A as runners up to France. Their win against Albania on the opening day was followed by consecutive draws against stronger sides Romania and France. They came away from the group stage undefeated and conceded just one goal, which came from a penalty against Romania. The big problem for the Swiss is they just haven’t had that cutting edge in front of goal.
Vladimir Petkovic is expected to stick almost with the same line-up that started against France as they have have no pressing injury concerns ahead of this clash. There are slight concerns on the fitness situation of Mehmedi, but he is expected to be fit in time to start. So, the only change will see Haris Seferovic come into the starting XI in place of Breel Embolo on the frontline.
Poland team remained unbeaten and kept a clean sheet in each of the three matches, having recorded respective 1-0 wins over Northern Ireland and Ukraine with a goalless draw against world champions Germany sandwiched in between. The Poles collected seven points as well as Germany but had to settle for second place due to an inferior goal difference. Anyway, after scoring 33 goals during qualifying, Poland’s goals have now gone dry. They finished with just two goals in three group games.
Adam Nawalka can be expected to make a number of changes to the starting XI. Kapustka serves a one-match suspension with Kamil Grosicki set to come into the team on the left. Lukasz Fabianski is likely to retain his berth in goal as Wojciech Szczesny is still carrying a thigh knock sustained in the win over Northern Ireland. Milik and Robert Lewandowski, of course, are expected to continue up front.

Euro 2016: Hungary vs Portugal Group F - 22-06-2016

Hungary vs Portugal
Competition: European Championship
Date: 22 June 2016 - Kick-off Time: 17:00 BST
Venue: Parc Olympique Lyonnais, Décines-Charpieu

With 4 points Hungary are at the top of the group and they are guaranteed a third placed finish at all cost. Bernd Storck's men opened their Euro 2016 campaign with a 2-0 victory over high-rated Austria and recorded a 1-1 hard-fought draw against Iceland last time out. They need just a draw to be assured of a top two place.
Defender Attila Fiola misses the match through injury. Striker Adam Szalai and Nermanja Nikolic will both be hoping to start this game, although boss Storck may stick with the starting eleven from last time out, fielding a 4-1-4-1 formation with Zoltan Gera in tha playmaker position, Balzs Dzsudzsak and Krisztian Nemeth as offensive wingers.
Portugal were held to a draw in each in their two matches in Group F so far: 1-1 against Austria in their opening match and a goalless draw against Iceland last time out, after Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty and a number of goal chances. To top the group Fernando Santos’ men would have to beat Hungary. No side managed as many shots on goal (37) in the first two matches, but the sum total of Portugal's endeavours was one goal from Nani.
Guerreiro and Andre Gomes have missed training with injuries and they are both doubtful. Eliseu and Renato Sanches are the most probable replacements but coach Fernando Santos have a number of options. Nani, Ricardo Quaresma and Cristiano Ronaldo will star up-front.

Probable lineups:
Hungary: Kiraly – Lang, Guzmics, Juhasz, Kadar – A. Nagy, Pinter – Kleinheisler, Dzsudzsak, Stieber – Szalai.
Portugala: Patricio – Vierinha, Pepe, R. Carvalho, Eliseu – W. Carvalho, R. Sanches, J. Moutinho – Quaresma, Ronaldo, Nani.
