Uruguay vs France International Friendly - 05-06-2013

Uruguay vs France
Football: International Friendly
Match date: 5 June 2013 - Kick Off Time: 19:00 GMT
Venue: Estadio Centenario - Montevideo
Referee:‬ A. Arias‎

Uruguay vs France Football Match will be played on 05-06-2013 at Estadio Centenario (Montevideo) for an International friendly match.
The French in recent times are the very unstable, although the defeat of Germany and Spain do not look disastrous. Last year's match between Uruguay and France ended goalless draw, so a large number of goals scored be expected. However, the French team often shows a good level of football in away matches, so I recommend to put on them.France come into this match with four wins in their last eight matches. Deschamps men sit in second place in their World Cup qualifying group, trailing leaders Spain by one point. Les Bleus have won their last five away friendly matches, including victories against Italy, Germany and England."Blue" invincible in international away matches in August 2010 (not counting the match against Spain at Euro 2012). The French at that time prevailed over teams like England, Germany and Italy.
Uruguay Football Team are currently ranked seventeenth in the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking. In their last 5 matches they have been struggling with one draw, one win and three losses.  Last time, they lost, it was against Chile for a 0-1 loss away.  Their last win was against Poland for a 0-1 win away in November 2012.
Uruguay are struggling to qualify for the World Cup 2014 and need a near faultless set of results in their remaining games to make it to Brazil next summer, but their more immediate concern is the upcoming Confederations Cup.
Uruguay are currently going through a terrible run of form. Oscar Tabarez’s men have only won once in their last nine matches, losing 2-0 to Chile in their last World Cup qualification match. in the past 18 months they have played 15 times, winning only three of those matches, drawing six and losing six. In their recent friendlies they shared spoils with Russia and France away before beating Poland, although they did lose their last friendly match to Spain.
Luis Suarez and Egidio Arevalo Rios are suspended for the upcoming Venezuela clash, but they are expected to feature this match against France.  Nicolás Lodeiro could also come into midfield having netted a brace during Botafogo's 2-1 win over Cruzeiro at the weekend. Having scored just twice in three games this year, the pressure will be on the likely attacking trio of Gastón Ramírez, Edinson Cavani and Luis Suarez to find a way past the France defence.
 Possible line-ups:
Uruguay (4-3-1-2): Muslera – M. Pereira, Godin, Lugano, A. Pereira – Gonzalez, Gargano, Ramirez – Lodeiro – Suarez, Cavani.
France (4-2-3-1): Mandanda – Sagna, Kocielny, Mangala, Tremoulinas – Capoue, Matuidi – Payet, Valbuena, Gourcuff – Giroud.

United States vs Germany 02-06-2013 International Friendly

United States vs Germany
Football: International Friendly
Match date: 2 June 2013 - Kick Off Time: 20:30 CET
Stadium: RFK Memorial (Washington / USA)

Germany managed to score after just six seconds in their midweek game against Ecuador, with Lukas Podolski quick to pressurise the Ecuadorian defence, force an error and finish. The game ultimately finished 4-2 but ultimately that scoreline flattered the South Americans with Die Mannschaft dominant, perhaps unsurprisingly given the strength of German football at the moment - the all-German Champions League final took place just days before. They'll find tougher opposition in the United States national team, with Jürgen Klinsmann no doubt out to prove a point against the nation of his birth.
USA go into the game on the back of a hammering by up and coming Belgium. The rising starts of the Benelux tore apart a hapless US team trying a few new ideas. A fledgling central defensive partnership of Goodison and Gonzalez was very suspect, with the players in different zip codes several times. Belgium ran riot and there must be massive worries of a NFL score here, even for a “2nd string Germany” USA will not want to overcommit themselves as they do have three massive World Cup qualifiers coming up in the next fortnight so expect a few fringe players to start and most of the 1st eleven will not be going 100% into challenges for sure. US have been very busy and since the start of 2012 have managed 10 wins, 5 draws and 4 defeats. The Concacaf region is not the most challenging to be honest and only wins of note were away in Mexico and away in Italy.  Expect to see the likes of Michael Bradley and Clint Dempsey start here with Hector Gomez up top with most likely Jozy Altidore.
After finishing third three times in their last four major tournaments and second in another, it's perhaps if rather than when this German side lift a trophy. Stars from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are absent after the Champions League final, with the exception of Sven Bender, who played the full 90 minutes in that game before turning in an excellent performance and scoring twice against Ecuador.

Brazil vs England International Friendly - 02 Juin 2013

Brazil vs England
Football:  International Friendly Match
Match date: 2 June 2013 - Kick Off Time: 19:00 GMT
Venue: Estadio Jornalista Mário Filho (Maracanã) - Rio de Janeiro

Much of the discussion around Brazil's players has revolved around Neymar's seemingly imminent move to Europe after much teasing over the past few seasons. The young striker has scored 20 goals in 32 international matches but adapting to playing for Barcelona could be his biggest challenge yet. The other talk ahead of Brazil's confederations cup campaign has centred on the absence of former Ballon d'Or winners Kaka and Ronaldinho; both big names to leave out, but most would agree neither are at their peak at this stage. Champions League winners Dante and Luiz Gustavo are included, but there's no place for Chelsea's Ramires, who was instrumental in his team lifting the trophy last season.
England go into the friendly in mixed form and also with a serious chance of missing out on another World Cup. In a group with Ukraine, Poland and Montenegro the English are making hard work of it. England sit in 2nd place in the group 2 points behind surprise leaders Montenegro but only 4 points ahead of Poland and Ukraine who both have a game in hand. Since the defeat to Italy on penalties in Euro 2012 England have won 4, drawn 4 and lost once. This run is including a friendly 2-1 win over Brazil. They have scored 26 goals and conceded 9 but with 18 coming against whipping boys Moldova and San Marino results have not been great for England at all.  As expected after the season has finished, England suffer a handful of withdrawals from the squad. Daniel Sturridge joins Steven Gerrard, Andy Carrol, Jack Wilshire and Tom Cleverly who all withdraw before the tepid 1-1 home draw with Republic of Ireland. Danny Welbeck and Jermaine Defoe are injury doubts so Theo Walcott may partner Wayne Rooney in attack.

Head-to-Head:
 Last Meeting: 06. February 2013 England - Brazil 2-1
Wins Brazil: 11
Wins England: 4
Draws: 9

Bayern Munich vs Stuttgart 01-06-2013 German DFB Pokal Final

Bayern Munich vs VfB Stuttgart
Football: German DFB Pokal Final
Match date: 1 June 2013 - Kick Off Time: 18:00 GMT
Venue: Olympiastadion, Berlin, Germany
 Referee: Manuel Gräfe

On Saturday, 1 June - 18:00 GMT , FC Bayern München meet VfB Stuttgart at the Olympiastadion in Berlin for the DFB Cup 2012/13 final. Bayern have the historical chance to win the triple - Bundesliga, DFB Cup and Champions League. Stuttgart hopes on their first title since the championship in 2007.
Bayern Munich travels to the Olympia Stadion in Berlin to play Stuttgart in the DFB Pokal final. After a fantastic season so far this is the last game of coach Jupp Heynckes before Pep Guardiola takes over. Rumor has it Jupp is Real Madrid bound yet again. He already won the Champions League with Real, and has proven himself yet again with Bayern Munich this season. Anyways, for this clash Bayern Munich will miss the impressive Brazillian duo Dante and Luiz Gustavo. Dante has been super solid in the Bavarian defense. Luiz Gustavo has been on the fringes of the first eleven, but impressed whenever he has had the chance. Badstuber and Kroos are still injured.
VfB Stuttgart played a moderate season with many up and downs. Especially the performance in the Bundesliga was under the expectations. Labbadia's side finished the Bundesliga 2012/13 only as 12th in the table. Better was their performance in the Europa League. Stuttgart advanced at least to the Round of 16 and retired against Lazio Roma (0:2, 1:3). However, VfB Stuttgart qualified for next Europa League through reaching the DFB Cup final and so they rescued their season. Manager Bruno Labbadia will have to pass on Felipe, Tamas Hajnal, Daniel Didavi and Mamadou Bah. Forward Cacau could give his comeback after long-time injury lay-off (cruciate rupture).
